Take everything that Scouting has to offer – Advancement, High Adventure, STEM, Friends for a Lifetime – combine that with Scouts from across the USA and around the world, nationally renowned entertainment, service to others and much more and you have the National Scout Jamboree!

Every four years, the Scouting community comes together for the wildest and most memorable 10 days a Scout can experience. Your Scout may ride a half mile long zipline with a Scout from Washington, ride mountain bikes with Scouts from Florida, trade patches with Texas Scouts, or be invited to have dinner with a new friend’s Troop from Wisconsin. This all happens at the 10,000 acre Summit Bechtel Scouting Reserve in the New River region of West Virginia.

Jamboree is truly the ultimate Scouting Adventure that Scouts will remember and relish for the rest of their lives.

Chester County Council will be taking a contingent of 108 Boy Scouts, 16 Venturers and 14 Leaders to this once in a lifetime event. The Chester County contingent will depart on July 18, travelling by motorcoach to The Summit to Live Scouting’s Adventure for the 10 most memorable days of Scouting ever!

The Chester County Contingent fee, which includes Jamboree registration, travel, meals, Jamboree insignia, a day pack and more, is $1,400.00 for youth and $975 for Leaders.
Please contact jamboree@cccbsa.org if you are interested in a Jamboree Leader role.
